A Peoria teenager was arrested early Friday morning after he fired a weapon over 30 times in two separate incidents at the same location.

The Peoria Police Department said that at 1:38 p.m., they responded to a call in the 2100 block of West Wiswall Street after receiving a ShotSpotter alert of 21 shots fired. A few moments later, another alert came through of 11 shots fired at the same location.

When officers arrived, a vehicle was seen speeding away from the location. With the car moving at a high rate of speed, officers weren't able to immediately catch up to it. As a result, it was reported stolen.
